Mark Sexton

Born in Wales, U.K. Mark Sexton immigrated to Canada with his family
and grew up in Burlington, Ontario. Mark’s high school art teachers fuelled his
already passionate interest in art. Among those teachers was Robert Bateman, a
Canadian wildlife artist, who was still teaching at the time. Upon graduation, Mark
attended the Ontario College of Art, spending his final year absorbing the Italian
lifestyle at the college’s campus in Florence Italy. Sexton has made Regina,
Saskatchewan his home for more than 25 years.

Mark has pursued a life-long interest in Art. He has participated in many group and
solo shows in; Burlington, Ontario (Lakeshore Gallery), Greve in Chianti, Italy
(Fattoria Montagliari), and Regina, Saskatchewan (University Club, Art Gallery of
Regina, Wascana Centre, Joe Moran Gallery, Alan Blair Cancer Clinic, Regina Centre
Crossing, and The Lobby Gallery). Mark’s work can be seen in many private and
corporate collections both locally and internationally.
