Delee Grant
DeLee Grant is an award-winning Canadian artist who reveals her deep appreciation of nature through her paintings. While she enjoys experimenting with various mediums, she is particularly drawn to oil to best capture her love for Plein Air—the practice of painting outdoors. With paints and canvas in tow, she frequently hikes trails, hillsides, and far-away places, always searching for the perfect spot that captures her attention.
Her artistic versatility extends beyond landscapes, as she also enjoys painting florals, birds, and animals. DeLee is passionate about sharing her knowledge and loves to teach painting to others. Her work can be found in numerous private collections throughout Canada and the U.S., as well as in public collections.
A member of the Regina Art Collective (RAC), DeLee is represented by the Lobby Gallery in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and serves as the Show Coordinator for the Brushworks Art Guild.
Artist's Statement
Through my “en plein air”(painting on location) practice, I capture the spirit of a place by translating fleeting sensory details—the scent of rain, the warmth of the sun, the rush of the wind—into a visual language. This process is a meditation, a deeply personal way to explore the profound beauty of our planet. The goal is to create a shared experience, transporting the viewer and fostering a deeper appreciation for the world around us.
